How is this plaque constructed? Is the glass separate from the wood?

The plaque features a unique split-panel architecture. The left anchor is a solid block of wood carved into a Latte Stone shape, which features a precision vertical slot. The thick glass rectangle slides securely into this slot, locking the two pieces together into a single freestanding display.

How visible is the engraving on the wood compared to the glass panel?

Both surfaces offer exceptional contrast! The laser process frosts the clear glass panel, turning your text and graphics a crisp, striking white. On the solid wood block, the laser cleanly etches into the wood grain, creating a deep, dark brown engraving that stands out beautifully.

Can I engrave different logos on the wood block and the glass?

Yes! Because we engrave both surfaces independently, you have complete design flexibility. For example, you can engrave an island or military branch seal on the wood Latte Stone block and place your main appreciation text and corporate logos on the glass panel. 

Is the glass panel made of real glass or lightweight plastic acrylic?
